All seconded and recruited fellows attend and actively participate in internal meetings held at UOA, WEST or LINK (monthly).

Training Through Participation in the Activities of Funded Projects

UOA fellows hosted by LINK follow the activities of the national funded project “Re-Generate”, which focuses on management and control of electric vehicles and their role in the future SG.

UOA fellows hosted by WEST follow the research activities of a research-funded project in collaboration with the Abruzzo region that aims to apply WSNs for structural monitoring of buildings and the historic center of L’Aquila downtown.

WEST and LINK fellows hosted by UOA follow the research activities of the EU-funded project CROSSFIRE. Also, all SMART-NRG fellows have had the opportunity to exchange views and follow the activities of numerous EU-funded projects with presence at the Marie Curie Researcher's Night Events organized in Athens and L'Aquila (2015, 2016 and 2017). Dr. Nikos Passas has also participated in the workshop of the EU-funded VIMSEN project 2017, exchanging views on the current evolvement of microgrids and smart electricity networks.
